On June 24, 2024, at Vitebsk State Medical University, as part of the Republican Marathon of Youth and Students, the event “Day of Information and Science” was held, in which the schoolchildren, students and employees of VSMU took part.

During the event, the directions of work and achievements of the university were presented.

On June 24, 2024, the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining in Pedagogy and Psychology of VSMU graduated the students who have mastered the content of advanced training programs in methods of teaching dental, pediatric, and pharmaceutical disciplines; innovative technologies for teaching morphological disciplines. All the students successfully passed the final certification. Based on the results of feedback, students highly appreciated the relevance, information content and practical content of the implemented educational programs of additional education for adults.

On June 22, 2024, on the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people, the members of the administration, the representatives of the trade union organization of VSMU, the staff and students of the university took part in a rally dedicated to the tragic date and a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the military grave on Sovetskaya Street. They also laid flowers at memorial signs in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The rally participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of fascism.

On June 20, 2024, a regular meeting of the University Council was held, at which the results of accreditation of the pediatric faculty and the faculty of advanced training and retraining in pedagogy and psychology were presented; candidates have been nominated to participate in the competition for grants from the President of the Republic of Belarus for 2025 in the field of healthcare, education, science and youth policy.

From June 24 to July 14, 2024, the entrance to the MTB will be closed due to the start of the admission campaign at the university. Traffic along the transition of the 2nd floor from the morphological building to the MTB will also be closed; the movement of workers and students will be carried out through the transition of the 3rd floor from the morphological building to the MTB (through the departments of topographic anatomy and the Russian language of the FOST) and the emergency stairs of the MTB.
