On October 21, 2024, as part of a series of open lectures dedicated to the 90th anniversary of VSMU, a lecture was held by the head of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Continuing Education, Professor V.S. Glushanko on the topic "Organizational models of world health care systems" for the 5th-year students, teachers and healthcare managers.

Models of systems of Belarus, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, USA, Italy, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada and other countries are disclosed at a high level.

The role of the state in protecting public health is shown. The importance of the domestic health care system is emphasized. The lecture aroused extraordinary interest among the audience.
