On October 22, 2024, the Clinical Council meeting was held at VSMU.

The following took part in the work of the Clinical Council: the Rector of the University Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the First Vice-Rector Alina Nikolaevna Shchupakova, the Deputy Head of the Main Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Lyudmila Fedorovna Kovaleva, the Vice-Rector for Medical Work Maxim Mikhailovich Savchuk, the Chief Physician of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Specialized Center" Valery Larionovich Denisenko and the heads of the clinical departments of the University.

The following reports were heard at the Clinical Council:

1. Report on the work of the regional scientific and practical "Coloproctology Center".

2. Report on the work of the regional scientific and practical center "Bariatric Surgery".

Speaker: the Chief Physician of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Specialized Center" Denisenko Valery Larionovich.

3. Report on the work of the regional scientific and practical "Gastroenterology Center".

Speaker: the Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases Yupatov Gennady Ivanovich.

4. Report on the work of the regional ophthalmological scientific and practical center.

Speaker: the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology Korolkova Natalia Kirillovna.

The meeting of the Clinical Council was constructive. The work of the regional scientific and practical centers was recognized as satisfactory, plans and ways of further development were outlined.
