In 2023, the VSMU students took part in the Republican competition of anti-drug posters “Say NO to drugs!”, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. The competition included posters made by students living in dormitories No. 7, No. 8, studying at the faculties of medicine, dentistry, and pediatrics, as well as those developed by the office of health and healthy lifestyle at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare with the course of FAT and PR and the department of educational work with young people.

According to the results of the competition, Tatyana Solovyova, the 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine (III place), became the winner and prize-winners of the competition in the nomination “Anti-drug poster for social advertising”, in the nomination “Anti-drug propaganda poster for educational institutions” - Yulia Moroz, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine ( III place).

On January 16, 2023, a “Job Fair” was held at VSMU at the Faculty of Pharmacy for the 5th year students of full-time education.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Natalya Lapova, the Deputy Dean Elena Serak, as well as the representatives of the organizations-customers of personnel: Vitebsk Republican Unitary Enterprise “Pharmacia”, Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belpharmacy”, Republican Unitary Enterprise “Minsk Pharmacy”, Mogilev Republican Unitary Enterprise “Pharmacia”, Gomel Regional Unitary Enterprise “Pharmacia” ", RUE "BelLekoCenter".

The administration of VSMU represented by the rector of the university Alexey Chukanov, the vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Denis Lits, the chairman of the PPO employees of the educational establishment "VSMU", the chairman of the primary organization of the public association "VSMU Belarusian Women's Union" handed over certificates in denominations of 3,700 rubles and 1,000 rubles to the chief physician of the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home, Elena Mizerkina.

As already reported, the head of state signed Decree No. 375 “On declaring 2024 the Year of Quality.” This decision was made in order to further improve the quality of life of the Belarusian people, ensure the competitiveness of the national economy on the world stage, stimulate initiative, create responsibility in society for the results of their work and a sense of belonging to the future of the country.
