On March 7, 2024, VSMU hosted a festive event dedicated to the wonderful spring holiday - Women's Day.

The rector of the Vitebsk State Medical University Alexey Chukanov, the head of the military department Igor Lyatos, the chairman of the Belarusian Union of Women of VSMU Elena Sharykhina, the chairman of the trade union committee of VSMU students Alexander Myasoedov addressed those present with words of congratulations.

Traditionally, every winter at the Vitebsk State Medical University, the trade union committee of employees, together with the university administration and the sports club, holds the Vigor and Health sports competition, the main objectives of which are the development of mass sports and physical education, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle and the unity of the workforce.

On March 1, 2024, visits were made to health care institutions Glubokoye Central District Hospital and Rossony Central District Hospital.

Senior teacher of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery Alla Mikhailovna Dyatlova examined 19 patients at the Glubokoye Central District Hospital. A thematic discussion was held with colleagues from the Glubokoye Central District Hospital on the treatment of neurological patients. Senior teacher of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery Irina Alekseevna Korovko conducted an outpatient appointment at the Rossony Central District Hospital, 13 patients were examined.

On March 4, 2024, assistant of the department of general medical practice, Kristina Gennadievna Shilina, conducted an outpatient appointment with 14 patients at the Glubokoe Central District Hospital health care facility. An examination was carried out, treatment was adjusted, recommendations were given for the prevention of exacerbations of rheumatological diseases.
