The library invites you to the thematic exhibition of copies of the works of Belarusian and Soviet painters "Commemorative summer of 1944: to the 80th anniversary of the Belarusian offensive operation "Bagration""

afisha bagracionOn March 25, 2024, the exhibition was changed in the art gallery of the university library.

The exhibition "Commemorative summer of 1944: to the 80th anniversary of the Belarusian offensive operation "Bagration"" presents copies of the works of Belarusian and Soviet painters, which reveal the greatness of the feat of the people. During the liberation of Belarus from the German-fascist invaders, the largest strategic operation of the Great Patriotic War was carried out - Operation Bagration. The Belarusian offensive operation is rightfully considered the greatest achievement of the national military art. During it, the Red Army not only freed Belarus from occupation, but also, significantly undermining the enemy's forces, brought the collapse of fascism and our Victory closer.

This became possible thanks to the courage, heroism, determination and self-sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of soldiers, underground fighters and partisans of Belarus, many of whom died on Belarusian soil. Those heroic events remain a sacred imprint in our memory and on the canvases of Belarusian and Soviet artists.

We invite you to view!
