Traditionally, every winter at the Vitebsk State Medical University, the trade union committee of employees, together with the university administration and the sports club, holds the Vigor and Health sports competition, the main objectives of which are the development of mass sports and physical education, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle and the unity of the workforce.

In February 2024, as part of the event, competitions in 12 sports were held: table tennis, darts, cross-country skiing, badminton, checkers, chess, volleyball, bullet shooting, tennis, bowling, fishing, a swimming tournament for children of employees “Swim Together” "

More than 200 people took part in sporting events.
