In order to improve the quality of internship training, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University regularly conducts visits to internship bases and meetings with the administration of healthcare institutions, mentors and interns.

On August 22, 2024, the administration of VSMU, headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, visited healthcare institutions in Mogilev, where VSMU graduates undergo internship: Mogilev City Emergency Hospital, Mogilev Central Polyclinic, Mogilev City Emergency Station, Mogilev Hospital No. 1, Mogilev Regional Oncology Dispensary, Mogilev Regional Clinical Hospital, Mogilev Regional Children's Hospital.

On August 20, 2024, a video conference between the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Head of International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Sharykhina, the Head of International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva with representatives of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the head of Beijing FD International Education Co., Ltd. Mr. Guo Shuai was held.

On August 16, 2024, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation visited VSMU. The guests were welcomed by the Rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits and the Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina.

As part of the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Export of Educational Services, VSMU is actively working to promote educational services to foreign markets.

The university trains, specializes, and improves the qualifications of medical and pharmaceutical personnel arriving from near and far abroad.

The university's active work in developing the export of educational services has allowed it to achieve recognition and become a finalist of the prestigious Republican competition "Best Exporter of 2023".
