On August 16, 2024, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation visited VSMU. The guests were welcomed by the Rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits and the Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina.

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, consisting of the Vice-Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education "Kazan State Medical University" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Sergey Albertovich Osipov, representatives of the company for the development and production of medical simulators "EIDOS" Nikolay Yuryevich Tikhonov and Anastasia Nikolaevna Rezchikova, visited the Educational Center for Practical Training and Simulation Training of VSMU.

The Head of the Center Viktor Valentinovich Rednenko acquainted the guests with the main directions of the educational process at the Center, aimed at forming and improving the professional competencies of students using the simulation technologies, as well as the implementation of modern organizational forms and methods of training in medical education as part of the development of continuous professional education in the field of healthcare.

Specialists from the Republic of Tatarstan highly appreciated the practice-oriented system of training of medical personnel at VSMU and agreed on fruitful cooperation.
