On July 30, 2024, the meeting between VSMU leadership, represented by the Rector of the University Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal work Denis Nikolaevich Lits and members of the delegation of medical workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.

During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the history of the university, the material and technical base, and visited the electronic library.

The issues of training citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan in internship and clinical residency at VSMU were discussed. Agreements on cooperation were reached.
