The Vice-Rector for Research of VSMU Elena Asiryan, young scientists and students of Vitebsk State Medical University took part in the 1st Russian-Belarusian Youth Medical Forum in Pskov on September 9-10, 2024.

As part of the events of the "Freshman Month" at VSMU on September 11, 2024, a dialogue platform was held with the first-year students of the pharmaceutical faculty with the participation of the operative officer of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk, the department for combating cybercrimes, Berezovskaya K.S. on the issue of combating cybercrimes and preventing offenses.

On the eve of National Unity Day, the Belarusfilm studio presented a new project – the film “Cultural Code” by Kirill Khaletsky.

A delegation from VSMU, headed by rector Alexey Chukanov, also took part in the premiere of the film, which took place on September 5 at the Cinema House. The visit to the film by VSMU employees took place thanks to the support of the administration and the primary trade union organization of the university staff.

A large number of foreign students study at VSMU. Citizens from more than 40 countries receive higher medical and pharmaceutical education at our university.

In the first days of the new academic year, first-year students among foreign citizens met with the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits, Dean of the FOST Vyacheslav Pobyarzhin and the staff of the dean's office.

In the first days of the academic year organizational meetings for first-year students are held at VSMU. Traditionally the Rector of the University, Alexey Chukanov, takes part in the meetings with students.
