On February 17, 2025, VSMU held an online conference with the University Of Nizwa (Oman).

The representatives of Nizwa university were greeted by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits. The Head of the Office of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina and the Head of the Department of International Relations Anna Pchelintseva also took part in the negotiations.

In the framework of the event negotiations were held, during which the issues of cooperation were discussed. The main topics were:

Contract conclusion – the parties discussed the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement, which will contribute to the development of academic and scientific ties.

Academic mobility – the issues of exchange of students and professors for participation in educational programs, internships and scientific departures were discussed.

Training – discussed the possibilities of joint educational programs, exchange of experience and teaching methods.

This event was an important step in strengthening international cooperation between VSMU and Nizwa University, which opens new perspectives for students and teachers of both universities.
