On 30 of May 2017 delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea headed by Counsellor of the Embassy of DPRK in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Pak Yong Sik and his colleague - Second Secretary of the Embassy of DPRK in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Jong Sae Nal visited VSMU.

During the visit to the university the guests got acquainted with the device of VSMU and its material and technical base. Possibilities of cooperation in the field of science and education were discussed with the leadership of the university.

On 16/02/2024, a dialogue platform was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the 1st year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics on the topic of the upcoming elections on a single voting day on February 25, 2024.

The members of the Youth Council under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Anna Germanova and Kira Shuverova, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Pediatric Faculty of VSMU Elena Batalkina,  the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences Svyatoslav Kulik, and the employees of the Department of Educational Work with Youth took part in the dialogue platform.

Dialogue platform “Electoral system of the Republic of Belarus. Single voting day" took place on December 20, 2023, at VSMU. The dialogue platform was attended by the 1st year students of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for educational work Olga Fedchuk, the Deputy Dean for educational work of the Faculty of Dentistry Alesya Vinnikova.

On January 6, 2022, in Vitebsk State Medical University, with participation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Subbotin Alexander Mikhailovich, a dialogue platform to discuss amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus was held.

On February 21, 2024, a dialogue platform was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Dentistry. The speakers of the event were the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Dentistry Alesya Vinnikova, the Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics with a course of FAT and PR Svetlana Kabanova.
