From June 24 to July 14, 2024, the entrance to the MTB will be closed due to the start of the admission campaign at the university. Traffic along the transition of the 2nd floor from the morphological building to the MTB will also be closed; the movement of workers and students will be carried out through the transition of the 3rd floor from the morphological building to the MTB (through the departments of topographic anatomy and the Russian language of the FOST) and the emergency stairs of the MTB. The elevator in the MTB will also be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

As part of the opening ceremony of the Republican holiday “Brest - Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus - 2024”, VSMU was awarded a Diploma from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus for many years of effective work in the development of artistic creativity, a great contribution to the aesthetic education of youth and assistance in organizing events of the Republican cultural and educational event of modern visual art creativity of students "The Facets of Creativity".

Doctors and students from VSMU are invited to participate in the newest project – BaltSurg. Baltsurg is a team of physicians, surgeons, residents, nurses medical students and patients who are interested in improving the outcomes of medical and surgical treatment of patients in the Baltic region and Worldwide by conducting international collective research. Our first project is focused on Surgery - “Predicting outcomes of general surgery in elderly patients - prospective international multicentre cohort study”. We invite anyone to join the research and get a chance to participate in a project that could change the way we treat every patient. As of know we are preparing the protocol and will be delivering all the information in December and the data collection would start in 2019 February or May.

The professional competition BRAND OF THE YEAR has been conducted over 15 years in the Republic of Belarus. The structure of the competition is composed of consumer, professional category and the honorable nomination “Socially Responsible Brand” that reflects the social attitude of the organization presenting it.

The honorable nomination “Socially Responsible Brand” is annually held to determine and award companies that demonstrate activity in different spheres of corporate social responsibility.

On the eve of Father's Day, celebrated on October 21, 2023, the mass cultural events committee of the trade union students’ committee of Vitebsk State Medical University organized the event “Let's congratulate dad together!”

On the first floor of the laboratory and theoretical building of Vitebsk State Medical University everyone could write a letter for their dad, attaching a postcard with good wishes and declarations of love. All letters will be sent on the same day to different parts of our native Belarus.
