On December 27, 2023, in preparation for the single voting day, VSMU held a dialogue platform on the topic “Electoral system of the Republic of Belarus. Single voting day." with the 2nd year students of the medical faculty.
On December 26, 2023, a meeting of the anti-corruption commission was held under the chairmanship of VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov. The report “On the state of work on preventing corruption in the organization and implementation of the activities of the VSMU clinic” was made by the chief physician of the VSMU clinic Voevodova M.A., the head of the personnel department of VSMU Geut S.F. acquainted those present with the report “On compliance with anti-corruption legislation when hiring, certifying VSMU employees, and forming a personnel reserve.”
On December 22, 2023, the VSMU team "Pentad of Celsus-Galen" took part in the All-Russian Olympiad with international participation in pathological physiology in Smolensk, where it took 2nd place.

The 2nd year students of the pediatric faculty of VSMU congratulated the pupils of Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home on the upcoming New Year and gave gifts. The students wished the students and staff good health, joy, fulfillment of their most cherished desires, and a happy childhood!
On December 22, 2023, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted an International Christmas volleyball tournament with the participation of teams from healthcare institutions of Belarus and Russia for the prizes of the rector of VSMU.
