On April 17, 2024, VSMU hosted a dialogue platform with the 1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine on the topic “Investigation of the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people: restoration of historical justice.” The speaker of the event was the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of Vitebsk Kim Lev Pavlovich.

On April 23, 2024, we have the opportunity to become part of an amazing show, the audience of which will enjoy large-scale creative performances, luxurious costumes and scenery, music, special effects and unforgettable emotions!

It should be noted that for the first time ALL funds spent on the preparation and holding of the competition were provided by Vitebsk State Medical University.

We have started accepting applications for participation in the republican competition to award scholarships from the President of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2025.

The candidates who have achieved the best results in scientific, scientific and technical, innovative activities at the following ages as of January 1, 2025 are nominated to participate in the competition:

• Doctors of Science under the age of 45,
• candidates of science – up to 35 years old,
• scientists without a degree – up to 30 years.

On April 14-15, 2024, the students of VSMU of the Sri Lankan community celebrated "Avurudu" - the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Traditionally, it consisted of two stages: outdoors (VSMU stadium and the territory of hostel No. 1) and in the large gym of VSMU.

Students were divided into 4 teams, differing in color. First, each team tried to score as many points as possible in sports competitions, then during the presentation of national dishes. And the next day, the students from each team presented outlandish, unique decorations for the team in their own color.
