The student of the medical faculty of VSMU Daria Mishuto demonstrated that persistence and determination can lead to the heights of success!

At the Championship of the Republic of Belarus in the program “A.A. Melnikov Cup” on judo among juniors up to 21 years old Darya won a bright victory, taking the first place in the weight category +78 kg.

On March 19, 2025, on the basis of the State Educational Establishment “Novkinskaya secondary school of Vitebsk district” there was held a career guidance event for graduates of general secondary education establishments of Vitebsk district “Targeted training fair”.

The meeting with the students of the 10-11 classes of educational establishments was attended by the dean of FPT VSMU Elena Gusakova, the deputy dean of FPT Lyubov Orekhova, as well as the representatives of the establishments of higher and specialized secondary education, enterprises and organizations located in the territory of Vitebsk district and Vitebsk.

On March 19, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University held an essay contest dedicated to the achievements of independent Belarus. The event united not only domestic students, but also representatives of foreign countries, which emphasized the importance of the topic for the young generation.

The organizers of the contest were the administration of VSMU, the military-patriotic club “I Serve the Fatherland”, the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language.

On March 14 and 17, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU conducted a vocational guidance excursion for pupils of the 9-11th grades of the State Educational Establishment “Secondary school №42 of Vitebsk named after D.F. Raitsev”, within the framework of which schoolchildren got acquainted with anatomical preparations and exhibits of the museum of VSMU, as well as the peculiarities of the human body structure.

On March 13-14, 2025, in the Belarusian-Russian University in the city of Mogilev the XVI Open Festival of creativity of foreign students “Friendship of Peoples” took place.

VSMU students from Sri Lanka traditionally took part in it.

The group “Mixfeeds” of VSMU conquered the jury and spectators with unforgettable national dances and won the Grand Prix of the festival!
