VSMU awarded the winners and prize-winners of the “Vigor and Health-2025” Spartakiade

Every year in winter Vitebsk State Medical University hosts the “Vigor and Health” Spartakiade. Organized by the employees' trade union committee with the support of the university administration and sports club, the sporting event is aimed at strengthening the sporting spirit, popularizing a healthy lifestyle and uniting the workforce.

On March 14, 2025, the awarding ceremony of winners and prize-winners of the Spartakiade among the university employees - members of the trade union took place. Certificates of honor and prizes were awarded by the chairman of the Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Vladimir Plytkevich and the Vice-rector for ideological and educational work Dmitry Kuzhel.

The Spartakiade, which was held in February 2025, included competitions in 12 sports disciplines: table tennis, darts, cross-country skiing, badminton, checkers, chess, volleyball, shooting, big tennis, bowling, fishing, as well as a children's swimming tournament "Let's Swim Together.

This year more than 200 people took part in sports competitions, which once again emphasizes the importance and popularity of the event among the university staff.

Spartakiada “Vigor and Health” continues to inspire an active lifestyle and strengthen the spirit of the team, uniting people around sports!
