Dear colleagues, students and graduates of VSMU!

Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University celebrates its 90th birthday. Over the years tens of thousands of doctors and pharmacists, specialists and scientists have been trained within its walls, devoting themselves to the noble mission of saving human lives and preserving the health of the nation. Many of our graduates have become excellent organizers and leaders of practical healthcare, heads of departments, chief physicians.

The University trains competitive specialists who are in demand not only in our country: the graduates of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training work all over the world, maintaining the high reputation of VSMU in the international medical community. Every year we improve the educational process, introducing modern methods and training programs; increase the level of educational, methodological and educational work; conduct scientific research; develop international relations. The University's international cooperation is carried out within the framework of joint educational, cultural, scientific programs and projects.

We remember with gratitude all those who stood at the origins of the organization and creation of our university, who laid the wonderful traditions that we carefully preserve and develop.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the employees of VSMU for their fruitful work, which contributes to the development of our university. I wish you enthusiasm, inspiration and the conquest of new professional heights!

I wish the students patience and perseverance, success in their studies and self-realization in their chosen profession. Set high goals for yourself and certainly achieve them!

Dear friends, we have many ambitious plans and tasks ahead of us to advance the University to the forefront of medical education and science.
