On October 30, 2024, the opening of the photo exhibition "In Unity - Strength" took place at the Vitebsk State Medical University, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university and the Year of Quality.

It is no coincidence that VSMU celebrates its anniversary in the Year of Quality, under the sign of which many interesting and remarkable events are taking place at the university, much has been achieved, since the work of the workforce is aimed at ensuring quality indicators by stimulating initiative, introducing rationalization ideas, and striving to create for the common good.

Public associations and organizations of the university took an active part in events dedicated to significant events in the history of the Republic of Belarus and having special historical and socio-political significance.

In the Year of Quality the university implements events and projects aimed at promoting the development of patriotic feelings of students, including the potential of our youth in solving socially significant problems of modern society, forming an active civic and life position of students: dialogue platforms, round tables, seminars, conferences dedicated to the formation of an objective attitude of society to the historical past, preservation of historical memory were organized; actions, clean-up days were held to restore order and improve historical, memorial places and military burials, and events aimed at popularizing the material heritage and traditions of the Belarusian people were held.

This photo exhibition gives an opportunity to once again remember, analyze, pay attention to the most interesting and memorable events that take place at the university.

The joint project of the veterans' organization and the PO "Belarusian Union of Women" of VSMU "Voices of Generations" became part of the exhibition exposition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university and the Year of Quality.

The attention of those gathered is presented with excerpts from interviews and the most significant awards of the representatives from among the faculty of VSMU. The goal of the exhibition was to demonstrate the achievements of our colleagues and to note the connection between generations of talented scientists and teachers who have made an invaluable contribution to the development of the university, and the younger generation, which will continue to build a strong and successful state.
