Every year VSMU is updated and becomes more beautiful, acquiring a new and beautiful look. And the university management pays great attention to improving the conditions for studying, resting and self-realization of students.

On October 29, 2024, as part of the festive events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of VSMU, our university opened a student center.

The opening was attended by the VSMU rector Alexey Chukanov, the representatives of the VSMU administration, the employees and students of the university.

The participants of the student vocal studio "Tandem" performed for the audience, a symbolic "red ribbon" was cut, and a tour of the student center was held for the guests. As the VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov noted: "I am sure that this space will be in demand among participants of our university's youth associations, here the guys will be able to meet in a not entirely formal setting. It will be possible to work and discuss pressing issues. This is quite an interesting project, because together it is more interesting, fun and useful."

The VSMU Student Center is an open space for all youth associations of the university, which will become a single platform for creating student projects and youth initiatives, holding dialogue platforms and interesting meetings, for games and psychological trainings.

The head of the volunteer squad "Kind Heart" Daria Boykova: "Thanks to the opening of the student center, the volunteer squad will be able to organize meetings, events aimed at doing good deeds and helping people. It will be much easier for us to communicate. A friendly atmosphere is very important in our business and in this environment, I am sure, many useful and interesting projects will be created."
