On November 1, 2024, a ceremonial Council dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University was held in the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

On the last evening of October, the concert hall "Vitebsk" was filled with the sounds of music, the shine of costumes and the light of smiles – the students and staff of VSMU gathered for the Autumn Ball, in honor of the anniversary of their beloved university.

Polonaise, waltz, quadrille, polka, cotillion - these almost forgotten dances seemed to have found a second life at our ball. Moreover, their teachers waltzed along with the students.

From October 28 to 30, 2024, mini-football competitions among the university faculties were held in the large sports hall of VSMU, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 90th anniversary of the university.

On November 1, 2024, on the day of the 90th anniversary of the Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University, a solemn ceremony of laying a capsule with a message to descendants was held.

The letter to the future is addressed to those who will accept and continue the work of previous generations and will be opened in honor of the 150th anniversary of the university, in 2084.

On October 30, 2024, in the game hall of the CSC FC "Vitebsk", the city cultural and sports festival of veteran organizations of the city of Vitebsk "Active Longevity" was held.

The veteran organization of VSMU, headed by the chairman Geut S.F. (Maslak S.A., Minin A.S., Tur A.V., Aksentsov A.G. and Chernomordova T.Yu.) performed as part of the national team of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, which won 2nd place among 8 national teams of the city.
