On December 27, 2024 the meeting of the University Council was held in VSMU, where the following decisions were made:

on changing the number of groups at the Faculty of Dentistry,

on presentation of the applicant to the academic title,

on opening of the branch of the chair of infectious diseases with the course of FAT and PR,

elected by the competition for the positions of the heads of the departments: Environmental and Preventive Medicine - Natalia Miklis, Normal Physiology - Svetlana Lazuko, General Surgery - Leonid Frolov.

The information about the analysis of the results of internship and the analysis of the results of the students' practical training was presented.

Chairman of the Council Alexey Chukanov handed the diplomas of candidate of sciences to Elena Sidorenko and Yury Yupatov, the sign “Veteran of Labor of VSMU” to Vladimir Shvarenk, Irina Grishina, Elena Krylova, Igor Generalov, Alexander Myasoedov.
