On March 5, 2025, in the student center of VSMU the dialogue platform “Active civic position: experience and perspectives” took place, in which the vice-rector on ideological and educational work Kuzhel D.K., the employees of the IEW department and the representatives of youth public associations and organizations of the university, having strong leadership qualities took part.

On March 5, 2025, within the framework of realization of student innovation project “VSMU Youth for Family Values. Large family - national wealth of Belarus” the student of the 1st year of medical faculty Anna Vysotskaya read ‘Letter to great-grandfather Prigodich Petr Petrovich, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War’. The student of the 7th group of the 4th year of the Faculty of Pharmacy Alesya Fakadei, who wrote this letter, became the winner in the nomination “essay” of the Republican contest “I Remember! I am proud!” in 2022.

The team of VSMU employees became the prize-winner of the regional tournament on winter fishing among health care workers.

Competitions were held on March 4, 2025, on the basis of tourist and recreation complex “Losvido”. The organizer of the event was the specialized trade union.

On March 5, 2025, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov visited medical institutions of Minsk region - Krupsk and Barysov central district hospitals, Barysov hospital No. 2, Barysov maternity hospital and Zhodino central city hospital, etc. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with potential jobs and working conditions for graduates of VSMU.

On March 2, 2025, the students and employees of VSMU plunged into the atmosphere of national holiday, taking part in a bright and cheerful celebration of Maslenitsa in the Soviet Army Park.

A lot of entertainment awaited the participants of the event: master classes, interactive platforms, performances of the youth theater “Koleso” and even the club of historical reconstruction “Wargentorn” immersed everyone in the spirit of ancient traditions.
