On March 3, 2025 in VSMU took place the event timed to the World Day of Civil Defense.

On this day a training exercise was held, aimed at practicing the actions of the university staff in the event of an airborne alarm.

The purpose of the training was to increase the readiness of the team to emergency situations and to ensure the safety of everyone.

Also the head of the sector of the State Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of Vitebsk, Major of Internal Service Mamoyko D.I. gave the speech for the staff of the university. In his lecture he spoke in detail about the principles of civil defense, the rules of conduct in emergencies and the importance of prompt action in case of a threat to safety. His speech was not only informative, but also reminded those present of the value of knowledge and readiness for any challenges.
