Graduation of 3 specialties of retraining at the Faculty of Professional Development and Retraining of Personnel retraining

On December, 27, 2024, at the Faculty of Professional Development and Retraining of Personnel

graduation of 3 specialties of retraining took place. 42 listeners were trained,

of them by the order of practical health care -17 listeners, on an extrabudgetary basis - 25 listeners.

On specialty of retraining 9-09-0911-58 “Ultrasound diagnostics” -18 doctors of ultrasound diagnostics;

on retraining specialty 9-09-0911-02 “Anesthesiology and reanimatology” - 6 doctors of ultrasound diagnostics;

on retraining specialty 9-09-09-0912-01 “Management and economics in Pharmacy” - 18 organizing pharmacists.

Meeting of the University Council

On December 27, 2024 the meeting of the University Council was held in VSMU, where the following decisions were made:

on changing the number of groups at the Faculty of Dentistry,

on presentation of the applicant to the academic title,

on opening of the branch of the chair of infectious diseases with the course of FAT and PR,

elected by the competition for the positions of the heads of the departments: Environmental and Preventive Medicine - Natalia Miklis, Normal Physiology - Svetlana Lazuko, General Surgery - Leonid Frolov.

18 listeners of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining received diplomas on the specialty of retraining “Ultrasound diagnostics” from the hands of the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov

On December 27, 2024 at the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel the Rector of VSMU, the chief supernumerary specialist on ultrasonic diagnostics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Chukanov took part in the state examination on the specialty of retraining 9-09-0911-58 “Ultrasound diagnostics”.

12 students were trained by order of the practical healthcare of Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel regions, as well as 6 students on a paid basis. All trainees showed excellent theoretical and good practical knowledge.

VSMU Voter Center in the focus of attention of young journalists

The only Voter Center opened in the educational institution arouses interest not only among the students of VSMU, but also among the youth of Vitebsk region.

On December 27, 2024 young journalists of Medialaboratory of Vitebsk region visited the VSMU Voter Center.

Results of the International Festival-Contest “Ladoshka”

Anna Katushyonok, a 1st year student of the medical faculty of VSMU, took the 2nd place in the nomination “Best drawing” of the XI International Festival-Contest of social advertising in defense of life and family “Ladoshka”. For participation in the festival the students of VSMU provided the works made at the master class on drawing of teacher-organizer Sergey Nazarev within the framework of innovative educational project “Large family - national wealth of Belarus. VSMU youth for family values”.

Dialogue platform in the VSMU Voter Center

On December 26, 2024 in the VSMU Voter Center a dialog platform with the 2nd year students of the Medical Faculty was held, the speakers of which were the members of the Republican Youth Council under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Kira Shuverova and Vasily Kulagin.
