On November 1, 2024, a ceremonial Council dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University was held in the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

On the last evening of October, the concert hall "Vitebsk" was filled with the sounds of music, the shine of costumes and the light of smiles – the students and staff of VSMU gathered for the Autumn Ball, in honor of the anniversary of their beloved university.

Polonaise, waltz, quadrille, polka, cotillion - these almost forgotten dances seemed to have found a second life at our ball. Moreover, their teachers waltzed along with the students.

From October 28 to 30, 2024, mini-football competitions among the university faculties were held in the large sports hall of VSMU, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 90th anniversary of the university.

On November 1, 2024, the Plenary Session of the Republican scientific and practical conference with international participation "Medical education of the 21st century" was held, where its results were summed up. As part of the sectional sessions, 50 reports were given, in which the conference participants highlighted current issues of continuous medical and pharmaceutical education. 4 round tables and 4 master classes were held.

November 1, 2024 Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus visited Vitebsk State Medical University.

The Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus met with the Rector of the University Alexei Chukanov, congratulated the staff on the university's anniversary and expressed gratitude for their diligent work in training highly qualified workers in the medical industry.
