On November 22, 2024, a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at VSMU, at which the following decisions were made:

Young scientists can apply for an intra-university scientific startup grant for young scientists of VSMU:

- under 30 years of age, working in the positions of professors and teachers (at their main place of work) for at least 1.0 rate, engaged in research activities;

- candidates of science (under 35 years of age),

- postgraduate students of VSMU (under 30 years of age);

- doctoral students (under 40 years of age).

In order to get acquainted with the historical and cultural sights of the Republic of Belarus, including the Vitebsk region, on November 21, 2024, the VSMU students went on an excursion to the I.E. Repin Museum-Estate "Zdravnevo".

The students visited 6 halls of the memorial exhibition, where copies of photographs, documents, works by I.E. Repin, books, household items from the late 19th-20th centuries, and items found during excavations on the estate's territory are presented.

On November 21, 2024, the 1st-year students of the pediatric faculty went on an excursion to "Dukhovskoy Kruglik".

The students got acquainted with the history of the tower, and also visited the remaining levels, which are dedicated to the stages of Vitebsk development and the International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk".

On November 21, 2024, within the framework of the Single Information Day on the topic "Elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus: the future depends on us", a thematic dialogue platform was held with the participation of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits.

On November 21, 2024, a dialogue platform with students was held at the Vitebsk State Medical University with the participation of the Chairman of the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Vladimir Plytkevich.

A serious conversation with young people took place on current topics - the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the results of 30 years of functioning of the presidency.
