On November 21, 2024 in VSMU with the purpose of strengthening of informational and explanatory work on prevention of cybercrimes and potential threats of fraud through social networks and messenger applications, the meeting of the University employees with the operative commissioner of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk  - Valeria Kritskaya took place.

During the event the attendees were familiarized with modern threats in cyberspace, with the rules of behavior in the Internet, allowing not to fall under the influence of various tricks of fraudsters; the most relevant aspects of information protection were also discussed.
