On February 28, 2025, the vocational guidance event “Targeted Training Fair” was held for the students of graduating classes of the state educational establishment “Gymnasium №3 of Vitebsk named after A.S.Pushkin”.

Our university was presented by the head of the military department of VSMU, colonel of medical service Igor Lyatos, who highlighted the issues of patriotic education, focused on the formation of high civic and patriotic consciousness in young people, as well as career guidance of graduates of the gymnasium.

During the event the students asked questions about the peculiarities of enrollment and study in VSMU.

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, the regional stage of the national festival-competition of patriotic songs “Soldier's Envelope - 2025” was held in Vitebsk on February 28, 2025. The event, dedicated to the heroic past of the country, gathered more than 20 talented participants who competed in two nominations: “Vocal ensembles” and “Soloists”.

On February 28, 2025, the meeting of the Board “On the results of the work of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus for 2024 and tasks for 2025” took place. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Vladimir Pertsov, the deputy corps of deputies, the deputy chairmen of regional executive committees and Minsk City Executive Committee on social issues, the heads of the main health departments of regional executive committees and the Health Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee, the rector staff of medical universities, the heads of medical universities, the representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus took part in the meeting.

On February 27, 2025, in the “Vitebsk” concert hall the summing up of the results of the city stage of the regional review-contest for the best organization of ideological work in labor collectives of Vitebsk region and the city youth award “TIME OF THE YOUNG” took place.

VSMU became the winner of the city stage of the regional review-contest, the laureate of the prize “TIME OF THE YOUNG” Angelina Vladimirovna Kuzmenkova, the senior lecturer of the Department of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics with a course of FAT and PR has become the winner.

On February 26, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University held a report trade union conference. The event gathered the representatives of the trade union organization of the university staff to summarize the results of work for the past period (from March 20, 2024 - February 26, 2025) and to discuss plans for the future.
