On February 25, 2025, in VSMU the dialog platform “Youth in the science of the future” was held, the participants of which were the representatives of Student Scientific Societies of Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University, Vitebsk State Order of “Badge of Honor” Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Vitebsk State Technological University and Vitebsk State University named after P.M.Masherov.

The purpose of this event is to exchange experience and strengthen ties between students for further cooperation and formation of joint scientific projects using new technologies.

Elena Asiryan, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of VSMU, emphasized the importance and necessity of students' participation in scientific research in order to strengthen and develop the scientific potential of the youth.

The representatives of the universities told about the work of student scientific societies in their higher educational establishments, as well as presented the most interesting scientific developments.

At the dialog platform the role of patriotic education in the formation of the student's personality was touched upon.

The representative of the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine Christina Filippovich made a report “My city - my heroes”.

Special interest was aroused by the works of VSAVM “Morphological studies in the exclusion zone”, which was presented by the assistant of the department of genetics and breeding of farm animals named after P.M.Masherov. O.A.Ivanova Kovalev Kirill and VSU named after P.M.Masherov “Rare and new species of hardwings (Coleoptera) for the territory of Orshan-Mogilev geobotanical district”, which was presented by the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemical, Biological and Geographical Sciences Rymkevich Alexander.

At the end of the dialog platform the report “Development of scientific activity of Vitebsk State Technological University” was made by the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Business Management Ksenia Mitskevich.

Excursions to VSMU and the simulation and certification center were conducted for the guests of the dialogue platform, the guests attended a master class at the “Center for Molecular Genetic and Biotechnological Research”.
