On February 28, 2025, the meeting of the Board “On the results of the work of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus for 2024 and tasks for 2025” took place. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Vladimir Pertsov, the deputy corps of deputies, the deputy chairmen of regional executive committees and Minsk City Executive Committee on social issues, the heads of the main health departments of regional executive committees and the Health Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee, the rector staff of medical universities, the heads of medical universities, the representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus took part in the meeting.

The Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Aleksey Chukanov also took part in the event.

The meeting considered a wide range of issues in the sphere - from the provision of quality medical care and staff training, to the issues of science, pharmacy and youth policy.

The final report on the work of the health care system in 2024 was delivered by the Minister of Health Alexander Khodjaev.

Within the framework of the Collegium of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus an exhibition of scientific achievements and developments was organized, in which the delegation of the All-Union State Medical University headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov took part.

The exhibition was visited by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Vladimir Pertsov, the Minister of Health Alexander Khodjaev and other participants of the board of the Ministry of Health.

At the stand of VSMU were presented promising scientific developments obtained under the implementation of government programs and grants with high practical significance.
