On November 29, 2024, within the framework of the exhibition "Medicine. Belarus. Future", held during the "Unity Marathon", the intra-university stage of the Republican project "100 ideas for Belarus" was held.

The projects of VSMU students Karolina Grigorieva, Elizaveta Ivanova and Maria Kozhushko were highly appreciated by the competition committee and recommended for the regional stage of the competition.

On November 29, 2024, as part of the republican social and cultural event "Unity Marathon", the VSMU students visited the exhibition "Year of Quality" located at VSTU and the exhibition "A Book as a Gift to the President" located at VSU named after P.M. Masherov.

The exhibition "Year of Quality" presents 27 propaganda drawings, each of which reflects the unforgettable flavor of Soviet reality, unique rare posters from the collection of the National Library of Belarus "With the Quality Mark".

On November 29, 2024, VSMU hosted table tennis, darts and badminton competitions among the employees of healthcare organizations of the Vitebsk region for the "Cup in Memory of the Rector of VSMI (1979-1996), Professor M.G. Sachek".

The sports competitions were organized jointly by the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers and Vitebsk State Medical University.

One of the most striking events in the life of Vitebsk State Medical University - the creativity and talent competition "Mr. VSMU" was held on November 28, 2024 in the concert hall "Vitebsk".

Ten charismatic, energetic and creative young men – the representatives of different faculties of the university - competed for the main title of the competition.

The contestants made every effort to perform with dignity. They demonstrated their positive qualities and talents, surprising the audience with bright creative numbers. Theatrical performances, energetic dances, emotional songs - our participants can do all this. And they found answers to the tricky questions of the hosts. The most striking moments of the show were the defile of the guys in memorable images.

The audience did not hide their emotions, sang and danced, supporting the participants.

After the program was over the jury members summed up the results of the competition.

The excursion of VSMU students to Lukomlskaya TPP, which took place on November 28, 2024, was a continuation of the plan to get acquainted with the historical and cultural sights of our country.
