The educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University” organizes and conducts training courses for the population “First Aid” in the amount of 16 academic hours.

Training is conducted at the educational center for practical training and simulation training of the university at Vitebsk, Voinov-Internationalists st., 38. Classes are conducted by the university teaching staff.

Upon completion of training, a standard training certificate is issued.

As part of the joint travel plans of VSMU and State Healthcare Institution of Vitebsk and Mogilev Regional Executive Committees work to provide medical and diagnostic assistance to the population by employees of the clinical chairs of VSMU in the areas of cardiology, neurology, psychiatry and narcology, surgery, therapy, otorhinolaryngology and traumatology, obstetrics and gynecology, etc. continues. Over the past two weeks, employees of clinical chairs of VSMU have carried out 36 visits to healthcare institutions in Vitebsk and Mogilev regions.

On January 25, a plenary meeting of the 79^th scientific session of the university at the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” was held.

On January 25, as part of the information and educational project “School of Active Citizen,” a meeting between the rector of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” Alexey Chukanov, the vice-rector of educational work Natalia Boltrushevich with students of grades 8-11 of the State Educational Establishment “Gymnasium No. 1 named after Z. I. Alferov" was held.
