On January 25, as part of the information and educational project “School of Active Citizen,” a meeting between the rector of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” Alexey Chukanov, the vice-rector of educational work Natalia Boltrushevich with students of grades 8-11 of the State Educational Establishment “Gymnasium No. 1 named after Z. I. Alferov" was held.

Alexey Nikolaevich told the event participants about the importance of education in the modern world, emphasizing that the choice of profession must be approached consciously. He noted that VSMU has created all the conditions for receiving medical and pharmaceutical education, as well as for realizing oneself in scientific, cultural, sports and social activities. The university can become an excellent starting point for everyone who wants to study there.

The rector of VSMU invited students to visit the university and take part in the project “Become a student for one day” in order to become more familiar with its history, material and technical base, and organization of the educational process.

Summing up the dialogue with students, Alexey Nikolaevich focused on the fact that we, citizens of the Republic of Belarus, need to work conscientiously every day, study well, and, most importantly, remain true patriots of our Motherland.
