On December 6, 2023, VSMU hosted an educational forum “Woman and Health - Consonance of Harmony” under the leadership of the chairman of the youth wing of the BWU of VSMU, Daria Belyaeva.

The Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance and relevance of the topics discussed at the forum within the framework of the demographic security of the Republic of Belarus.

A dialogue platform on the organization of ideological work in educational organizations and establishments with the participation of  the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Viktor Glushin was held at VSMU in order to improve the qualifications of the university employees of the educational part.

On December 4-5, 2023, on the basis of the Vitebsk State Technical College, volleyball competitions were held among men's teams of dormitories of the higher and secondary special education establishments in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The national team of our university took 2nd overall team place.

On December 2-3, 2023, Vitebsk Open Badminton Cup among men and women was held at the large sports hall of VSMU.

More than 30 athletes took part in the competition, including the students and staff of our university.

December 4, 2023 on the basis of the Vitebsk State Medical University, within the framework of the implementation of the Program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021–2025, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated July 29, 2021 No. 292, an agreement was signed on the creation of a scientific and educational cluster “Medicine and pharmaceuticals - innovative projects." The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov, the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Viktor Glushin.
