Today the VSMU students and staff went on a two-day “Star Walk” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

The VSMU sanatorium carries out active health-improving work among students without interrupting their studies, offering a variety of programs and services designed to maintain health and increase physical and psychological activity. This comprehensive approach to wellness helps students maintain a balance between academic activities and health, providing them with good conditions for successful education and personal development.

On May 15, 2024, as part of the Republican competition of social youth projects “Youth of Belarus for life, morality and family values”, the final event of the innovative educational project “Youth of VSMU for family values!”, dedicated to Family Day, took place.

On May 12-14, 2024, a wonderful excursion was organized with foreign students to the city of Brest. 44 students from Sri Lanka, India, Lebanon, Egypt, Nigeria and Ghana embarked on an unforgettable journey.

On May 22, 2024 at 14.00 in the conference hall of the main academic building at a meeting of the University Council, the applicants for the award of academic titles will be presented:

• the Professor of the Department of General Surgery, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor V.L. Denisenko - to the academic title of professor in the specialty “Medicine”;
• the Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Candidate of Medical Sciences I.N. Ogrizko - to the academic title of associate professor in the specialty “Medicine”;
• the Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, Physics and Education, Candidate of Biological Sciences O.A. Yakovleva - to the academic title of associate professor in the specialty “Biology”.
