On May 28, 2024, a dialogue platform was held for the 1st year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics on the topic “Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War” with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of the Execution of Legislation in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Vitebsk Region, Senior Adviser of Justice I.V. Metelitsa. Igor Vladimirovich briefed those present on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.

Chess competitions were held in Minsk as part of the program of the Republican Universiade - 2023/2024, at which the team of our university took a high 4th place.

The team included: Kristina Chicherova (2 MF), Ilya Shulyakovsky (5 MF), Meilis Orazmyradov (5 FOST), Yaroslav Syromolotov (6 MF), Victoria Lyashuk (1 MF).

On May 24-25, 2024, the hero city of Brest hosted a gala concert of the Republican festival of artistic creativity of students “Art-vakatsi-2024”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

On May 24, 2024, the annual XXIII Republican scientific and practical conference with the international participation for young specialists “Modern achievements of neurology and neurosurgery” was held in the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park “Great Stone” near Minsk.

The conference was attended by the employees of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of VSMU, young neurologists of the Vitebsk region and students - active members of the VSMU SSS.

From May 24 to 26, 2024, the XV Republican Spartakiad of Healthcare Workers was held in Raubichi, where the VSMU employees also competed as part of the Vitebsk region team. And the performance was very successful:
