On May 23, 2024, a republican scientific and practical conference with international participation “Topical issues of pediatric practice, dedicated to the memory of Professor I.M. Lysenko” was held at VSMU in full-time and online format.

The conference discussed modern problems of pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most common pathology among newborns and children of different age groups, innovative approaches to the treatment of diseases in newborns and children.

There were 3 neonatal and two pediatric sections. Leading specialists from the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation took part in the conference.
