The organizing committee of the conference regrets the impossibility of holding the event on time due to circumstances beyond our control. The first open competition of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace International" was held on March 4 in the "Vitebsk" concert hall. Representatives of Belarus, China, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan competed for the title of winner. All the girls are university students of the regional center. They had to reveal their talents in multifaceted manner. The girls were supposed to impress the jury with culinary abilities, having demonstrated the national food, oratory and creative inclinations.

The final part of the competition was divided into two stages. The first stage and the first competitive test was a national food. The girls were really able to surprise the competent jury with national culinary masterpieces. The second stage of the final competition included a public speaking contest, a creative competition and a fashion show competition in national costumes and wedding dresses.

On the 24th of January a bright and varied program on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Republic of India organized by the Embassy of India in Minsk took place. Senkovich M.A., Deputy Dean of the Overseas Students Training Faculty, S.M. Nazarev, teacher and event planner of Vitebsk State Medical University, 2nd year student of OSTF Bhatt Sushan, chairman of Sri-Lankan Students Union, 5th year student of OSTF Mamidi Sai Gowtham took part in this solemn event.

Student Bhatt Sushan was invited to this reception to show his ten exclusive artworks. His wonderful paintings that are focusing on mythological themes and reflecting philosophical problems of Indian culture interested all the guests.

On 15 January 2020, a delegation of World Bank specialists visited VSMU to discuss issues of organizing long-term care for elderly people in the Republic of Belarus.

During a visit to our university, the guests got acquainted with its structure, material and technical base, the structure of educational process at the departments of human anatomy and clinical microbiology, and were shown the anatomical museum.
