The employees and students of the Vitebsk State Medical University were the first who a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the book “Our President” was gifted to.

This publication filled with deep meaning and inspiring stories was awarded by the Rector of the University Alexei Chukanov on January 22, 2025, to the deans of faculties, activists of the primary organizations of the Republican Public Association "White Rus'", the representatives of the public association "Belorussian Union of Women", as well as the leaders of trade union organizations of the VSMU and student’s asset of the University.

On February 13, 2025, the ceremonial raising of the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus was held at Vitebsk State Medical University, marking the beginning of the 2nd academic semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, the representatives of the VSMU administration, teachers and students.

The Rector Alexey Chukanov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, wishing everyone present success in their studies, scientific work and creative endeavors, and also reminding that it is through perseverance, hard work and mutual support that the highest goals are achieved.

On February 11, 2025, darts competitions were held as part of the year-round Spartakiad among teams of dormitories of secondary specialized and higher education institutions of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

According to the results of the sports competitions, the VSMU team took the1st place.

The team included: Zhilich Andrey (6th MF), Kapitonov Ilya (4th MF), Kayukalo Valeria (5th MF).

On February 11, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU held a career guidance excursion for the 9th grade students of the State Educational Establishment "Secondary School No. 5 of Vitebsk named after G.I. Bogomazov", during which the schoolchildren got acquainted with the basic principles of making various types of anatomical preparations, the structural features of the human body.

Also during the excursion, the head of the Department of Human Anatomy Tesfaye Wolde Asfaw emphasized the importance of professional training of future specialists in the process of studying at a medical university, where one of the key positions is given to the study of human anatomy.
