On March 13-14, 2025, in the Belarusian-Russian University in the city of Mogilev the XVI Open Festival of creativity of foreign students “Friendship of Peoples” took place.

VSMU students from Sri Lanka traditionally took part in it.

The group “Mixfeeds” of VSMU conquered the jury and spectators with unforgettable national dances and won the Grand Prix of the festival!

Every year in winter Vitebsk State Medical University hosts the “Vigor and Health” Spartakiade. Organized by the employees' trade union committee with the support of the university administration and sports club, the sporting event is aimed at strengthening the sporting spirit, popularizing a healthy lifestyle and uniting the workforce.

The XXXII Minsk International Book Fair is held in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Many events and expositions of the exhibition, which tell about feats, heroic struggle and genocide of the Belarusian people, are timed to this significant date.

On March 14, 2025, on the threshold of one of the main state holidays of our country, a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus was held at Vitebsk State Medical University. This event became a symbol of unity and respect for the basic law of our country, which defines the values and the way of development of the Belarusian people.

The event was attended by Vladimir Plytkevich, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Care Workers, the representatives of the administration of VSMU, the employees and students of the university.

On March 12, 2025, the 4th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, accompanied by the Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technologies with a course of FAT and PR Yurkevich A.B. and the trainee teacher of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry Shamko V.V. visited RUE “Belmedpreparaty” (Minsk) within the framework of the Open Doors Day, where they got acquainted with the organization of production, pharmaceutical quality system, nomenclature of manufactured products, the latest developments and prospects of the enterprise.
