VSMU foreign students - members of the Student Scientific Circle of the Department of General, Physical and Colloid chemistry took an active part in the IV International scientific-practical conference of foreign students and undergraduates “Foreign students to Belarusian science”, hosted by Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine", and received worthy awards.
First-year students of the Faculty of Overseas Students Training (specialty “General Medicine”) Monira and Abdul Monayem made a report “Ayurvedic medicinal plants of Bangladesh”, and students Rahman Manfuzur and Sumaya spoke on “How the population of Bangladesh use medicinal plants” (supervisor: Z. S. Kuntsevich). They were awarded I-degree diplomas.
A 3rd –year student of “General Medicine” faculty Perepelitsa V.A. (Kazakhstan) made a presentation “Gastroprotective effect of iodine-containing thyroid hormones”, a 4th-year student of Stomatological Faculty A. Razumova (Russia) made a presentation “Impact of emotional stress on movement activity of animals” (scientific advisers: E.A. Gusakova, I.V. Gorodetskaya). Their reports were awarded II-degree diplomas.
Third-year students of the Faculty of Overseas Students Training (specialty “General Medicine”) Nazman Mohamed, Ketmi Navodia and Joel Albert made a presentation “Dengue fever in Sri Lanka” ( scientific advisor: Z. S. Kuntsevich) with III-degree diploma awarded.
