On January 16, 2019, the delegation from the Slovak Republic, headed by professor Jan Kiselovich, the department of pharmacology and toxicology of the Pharmaceutical faculty of J. Komensky University in Bratislava, including Josef Miglash, Executive Director of “NatiVita Central Europe” LLC, and Martin Pinchek, a doctoral student of the Pharmaceutical Faculty at J. Komensky University, was welcomed at VSMU. This visit was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation in the field of research signed between VSMU and I. Komensky University in Bratislava.
During this visit to VSMU, the guests got acquainted with its structure, material and technical facilities, organization of the academic process at the departments of human anatomy, pathological anatomy with a course of forensic medicine, clinical microbiology, and were shown the anatomical museum as well.
When meeting with VSMU administration, the issues relating to further international cooperation through bilateral inter-university agreements were discussed, in particular, the implementation of academic mobility programs for students and teachers. The talks were also devoted to opportunities for cooperation in the field of biotechnology and personalized medicine.
