Sport events of the XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU-2016 Student autumn"

During the period from October 31 to November 1, 2016, a volleyball tournament among men’s and women’s teams of VSMU hostels was held in the small gym within the frameworks of the XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU-2016 Student autumn".

As a result of an intense two-day struggle the united men’s team from hostel #5 became the winners, the 2nd place went to the hostel #4 team and students of the hostel#3 were awarded the 3rd place.

Women's tournament was won by the girls of the hostel# 3, the hostel#5 team took the 2nd place and the hostel# 4 team closed the top of the winners.

Individual swimming competition took place on 1st November, 2016 in the swimming pool of VSTU HFC within the program of XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU- 2016 Student autumn ".

As a result of uncompromising and dramatic struggle in the water the top places were distributed among:

Boys:
1st place – Aktsizny Maxim, a GMF fourth-year student
2nd place - Daniel Ivanov, a first-year student of OSTF
3rd place - Daniel Kuznetsov, a PF second-year student

Girls:
1st place - Kseniya Mironenko, a GMF first-year the 1MF,
2nd place - Milto Anastasia, a PF fifth-year student,
3rd place - Rudenets Anastasia, a GMF third-year student.

On 1 November 2016 the chess tournament was conducted in the classroom of the military training and emergency medicine department within the program of XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU-2016 Student autumn ".

The top places of this intellectual game were distributed among our chess grandmasters as follows: 1st place for Viktor Gorbachev, a GMF sixth-year student, the 2nd place went to Vorotynsky Vladislav, a GMF first-year student, the 3rd place - to Aleksandr Gutor, a GMD fifth-year student.

Among the ladies Ovezova Mengli, a first-year student of OSTF, took the 1st place, the 2nd place was taken by Shibanova Alexandra, a GMF sixth-year student, and the 3rd place went to a student of OSTF Samaravikroma Aiommi Kanchana.

On November 2, 2016, mini-football competitions finished in the main gym of the University in the program of XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU-2016 Student autumn"

In a bitter and intense struggle the students of General Medicine Faculty became the winners, the second place went to the football-players of Stomatological Faculty, and the students of Overseas Students Training Faculty took the third place.

The small gym of the University was the arena for a private table tennis championship, which took place on 2 November 2016 within the program of XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "2016-VSMU Student autumn".

As a result of a small rocket tournament, the winner among boys became Anton Alekseev, a PF second-year student, the second place was for Sobolev Ilya, a PF second-year student, and the third place went to Alexey Morozov, a GMF second-year student.

Among the girls, the first place went to Vysoven Mariya, a PF second-year student, 2nd place was for Zhalnerovskaya Natalia, a PF fourth-year student, the 3rd place was awarded to Olga Korovaevich, a GMF first-year student.

An individual championship in kettlebell lifting was held in the fitness gym of the #4 hostel on November 2, 2016 in the program of XX International Creativity Festival of medical students "VSMU-2016 Student autumn”.

As a result of this competition, the best and strongest was Gorbylev Sergey, a GMF second-year student, the second place went to Pavel Filimonov, a GMF third-year student, and the third place was for Frolov Vladimir, a OSTF fifth-year student.
