VSMU students are participants in the international sports festival “Physical culture and sports – the second profession of a doctor”

From February 14 to 18, 2024, the 3rd stage of the international sports festival “Physical culture and sports - the second profession of a doctor” is taking place at the Volgograd State Medical University.

6 teams of medical universities from Vitebsk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Donetsk take part in the sports competitions. The competition program includes volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, kettlebell lifting, darts, all-around competitions, swimming, chess.

On February 14, the VSMU delegation got acquainted with the sights of Volgograd, visited the book museum and the history museum of Volgograd State Medical University.

On February 15, the opening of the festival and the first competitions took place.
