IV International Olympiad for medical students “From the teachings of Abu Ali ibn Sina - to the third Renaissance”

On January 26-27, 2024, the IV International Olympiad for medical students “From the teachings of Abu Ali ibn Sina to the third Renaissance” was held at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (the Republic of Uzbekistan).

Members of the VSMU student team won victories in the following categories of the Olympiad:

• Konstantin Timoshenko (the 4th year, the 30th group, the Faculty of Medicine) – 1st place in the category “Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery”.
• Arseniy Badak (the 5th year, the 29th group, the Faculty of Medicine) – 2nd place in the “Traumatology” nomination.
• Alexey Poleshchuk (the 6th year, the 6th group, the Faculty of Medicine) – 3rd place in the “Anesthesiology and Reanimatology” nomination.
• Anastasia Poleshchuk (the 6th year, the 37th group, the Faculty of Medicine) – 3rd place in the “Otorhinolaryngology” nomination.
• Alexander Moskalev (the 6th year, the 31st group, the Faculty of Medicine) – 3rd place in the “Internal Diseases” nomination.
