«Fresher’s Night» organised by Exorians (batch of 2027) to welcome Troizians (batch of 2028) into the VSMU family was held on 26^th of November 2022 at the Concert Hall, Palace of the Raliway Workers. 

The event started with welcoming the guests with a beautiful traditional dance and with lightning the traditional oil lamp. Students from various communities were present in the function. After lighting of the lamp the freshers went on the ramp walk and got introduced to the VSMU community. Then there were variety of talents showcased by the freshers. There were solo songs, group songs, colourful dances both duo and group and well staged dramas. The event was filled with joyfull atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the performances very much.

At the end of the function titles were awarded to those who excelled under different categories as follows. The titles were awarded by the special guests present and the past Mr and Miss Fresher. At the end everyone was treated to tasty Srilankan cuisine. 

Such great events help first-year students adapt faster to their new life in Belarus and join the new friendly family - the students of VSMU!
