The Sri Lankan Freshers’ Night was held on Friday, the 1st of April at “Palace of Culture of Railway Workers” on Nekrosova street. 

The event is annually organized by students of the 2nd course in order to welcome the newcomers who enrolled in VSMU. With the participation of close to 500 people: students, teachers and dignitaries from the Dean’s office. It was a mesmerizing event with a ramp walk and some wonderful performances by the freshers; songs, dances, dramas and speeches to name a few.

The event was concluded by giving away titles to the most talented performers of the day with Imash Ryan perera and Tharushi Nethmi being crowned Mr. and Ms. Fresher respectively.
