On September 28, 2021 Alok Ranjan Jha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Belarus visited Vitebsk State Medical University in order to get acquainted with the educational and scientific potential of the university. 

The rector of the university, professor A.T. Shchastniy, vice-rector of International Affairs and Work with Foreign Citizens, associate professor M.M. Savchuk, the Head of Department of International Affairs E.A. Beliakova took part  in the reception of the Ambassador. During the visit, Alok Ranjan Jha got acquainted with the morphological departments of VSMU, the organization of the educational process, the material and technical base, and also took part in a meeting with Indian students studying at the university. A wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation was discussed at the meeting with the administration of VSMU.
